German pine roundwood price index mainly lowering

The prices for German pine reduced in February 2023. On average, the index for logs decreased by 5,1%. B grade lost 8,9%, out of which 3/4 m lengths contributed with 7,4%.

C grade in February fell by 5,8%.

According to Destatis, pulpwood of different spices (spruce, pine, Douglas fir) lost up to 6% of its value.
