Lumber production in Ukraine grew by 21.7% in January-April 2016

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, the volume of industrial lumber production in Ukraine grew at an annual rate by 21,7% in January-April 2016, reaching 568 thousand m3.

Production of composed plywood during this period decreased by 7.9% to 56,6 thousand m3, production of wood boards – by 4,3% to 416 thousand conv. m3. Manufacture of veneer sheets rose by 9.9% to 22,1 thousand m3.

Industrial production of panel-board parquet during the first four months of 2016 reached 204 thousand m2, which is 13.8% more than the year before. Volumes of production of wooden windows and doors were down at an annual rate by 5.5% to 506 thousand m2.
